After last year’s highly successful production Oj, ta noč milobe polna, we have prepared a conceptual and artistic upgrade for the concert in the prestigious Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom:

The very title of the concert, Earth, Through You I Touch Everything (by Edvard Kocbek), speaks of how contemporary human beings can still attune themselves to the wholeness of a world that heals.
Under the artistic direction of accordionist and composer Janez Dovč, the ensemble Sounds of Slovenia presents a musical event that brings together the depth of folk melodies and settings of poetry by Slovenian poets and writers, including Ivan Cankar, Lili Novy, Simon Jenko, Srečko Kosovel, Edvard Kocbek, and many others.
This fresh synthesis of voice and sound, music and an evocative light design, will offer an exceptional experience of Slovenia’s sonic landscapes within the resonant space of the Gallus Hall.
